How many sessions does laser hair removal require and how often are they recommended?

Typically, 6-8 sessions for “full” hair reduction, but this number varies depending on hair color, density, genetics, hormones, etc. Each session is spaced 4-6 weeks apart and should not be extended out further.

Do I shave before LHR?

Yes, unless advised otherwise, please come in for your appointment clean-shaven. No need to wait for grow-out like waxing!

Does LHR hurt/what does it feel like?

Everyones pain tolerance is different. It is painful and can feel like snapping rubber bands with each pulse, or like a zap of energy. Although it hurts, it does go by very quickly and the results are 100% worth it for most people.

What if I’m still not seeing clear skin when I’m doing all the right things?

There are many factors that play into why a person gets acne— diet, lifestyle, products, genetics, hormones, etc. While you’re on our Acne Bootcamp we are happy to “troubleshoot” any and all problems with you to help you get the clear skin you desire and we’ll do everything in our power to make it happen.

Which treatment is best suited for brightening/sun spot reduction?

There are a few different options for treating uneven or dark skin. One is a series of advanced chemical peels, because they help to slough away old skin cells and renew new, fresh ones at a deep level. Another great option is an IPL Photofacial which uses pulses of light energy (laser) to even complexion. Brightening Collagen Induction Therapy (or Microneedling) is also recommended to give an overall brightening to the skin as well as reduce fine lines and help rebuild collagen and elastin.

Cancellations:

We understand that life happens, but we ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice (preferably 48 hours) before you cancel your appointment so we may open your time slot to other clientele. If for some reason you cancel within the 24 hours of your appointment, you will be subject to a 50% charge of the full service amount (limited exceptions apply). "No-shows" will be charged the full amount of their booked service.

Late arrivals:

We will always do our best to accommodate our guests, however we can only do what we can with the time available from the start of your scheduled appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, you may be subject to a late fee of 100% of your booked service and required to reschedule for a later date.
